Webpage title - February 2019 release #380

Webpage title in Feb 2019 release is being wonky. In this case, it's showing the title of the second item in the results list (?) -- 'Remembering John Marshall' -- as the title.

Title for this same search in production shows as 'SOS -(search term)':

Impressive (!) that you found this weird bug that exists in production and sandbox. This is where this is configured and the configurations are the same in production and sandbox.

One way to reproduce this bug.

  1. do a fresh topic search incognito for "product manager" in production. Tab will display SOS - {{query}}

  2. click on first record's title "evolution of the product manager" to bring up the full record. Tab will switch to {{recordTitle}} - {{institutionName}}

  3. close full record. Tab will display SOS - {{query}}

  4. do a new topic search "nanotechnology" and tab will switch to {{recordTitle}} - {{institutionName}} using the first record of the results. It should display SOS - {{query}}

I suppose I should file a case if you see the same thing.

I wasn't able to find any other reports of this issue, but I was able to reproduce this on your environment and my test environment. It does appear to be a bug, so I'm forwarding this case to the Tier 2 team. They will keep you informed of any updates.
