document alternate initialization scheme? #47

Do we need to document the change to allow initializing with trees of a given size? corresponding to https://github.com/NGEET/fates/pull/995 cc: @JessicaNeedham

@ckoven yes, good idea. I've made a PR with a short description of how to do this.
