Development of v2 of the Mass Digitisation App (developed by NHMD) which captures broad information on multiple specimens (e.g., from front of drawer or front of folder) and associates that information with all of the relevant specimens whilst creating individual specimen records for all (by importing to Specify). Usually this broad information consists of taxon name and broad geographic information, but can also include storage location and type status. Additional information can be captured on individual specimens during the process if necessary and doesn't significantly slow down digitisation.
