NHMA: Can't edit or add data #230

We can't add to the database (New Collection Object, Edit Geography Tree etc...) Error occurs in NHMA-Entomology and NHMA-Vertebrate but I suspect it to be in all collections.

Sounds serious and seemingly not related to any load we've been putting on the server. Let me investigate...

I could add a collection object just fine (NHMA350410)

However, the geography has structural problems that I will attempt to fix to begin with.

The geography tree was fixed. Maybe this also underlay attempts to save collection objects, if certain geography-items were linked to it via locality.

I still can't add or edit in Geography Tree, eg. adding child to existing node.

When starting Specify, we get this error message:

Specify version does not match database version The Specify version 6.8.03 does not match the database version 6.8.01.

Some features of Specify 7 may therefore fail to operate correctly.

The version mismatch is a temporary issue that can be ignored, while we're waiting for Kansas' for help about. I can turn it off for now.

I cannot replicate the issue with the Geography Tree. What child node are you trying to add to what parent node?

I'm hoping that the upgrade alleviate any problems in any case, otherwise feel free to re-open this ticket.
