Failing synonymisation function in Specify 7 #231

In the taxon tree of Sp. 7 you cannot synonymise a taxon with another if it has child taxa, EVEN if these child taxa have all been synonymised with something. In Sp. 6 you CAN synonymise a taxon if all its children are synonymised. Take for example a species with subspecies, which are all synonyms of another species in the genus. You can synonymise the subspecies, but not the species itself, giving the misleading impression that it is still valid and meaning that it will erroneously be displayed as the preferred name in records where the subspecies have not been used.

This should be fixed in the latest version of Specify7 and after I changed a specific setting globally.
