Since some of the Herbarium specimens cause a lot of dust and plants crumbs, @Gomismis suggested getting a broad conservation brush to clean the workstations from time to time.
Options 1, 2 and 3 from that link all seem to fit our needs.
@Sara suggested choosing the horse hair option: "Goat hair is quite a lot softer than horse hair and probably wouldn't scratch the imaging plate, but the bristles would probably break faster.
Since the plate is already scratched from the herbarium sheets and plant debris, I would suggest horse hair as the sturdier option".
She will find a fitting brush from a danish supplier.
