17/12/20 - Discussed with James W - OCC and Oxford are looking to develop a 'lite' preview function (not containing all formatting as per published dictionary but enough to ensure eg links work and text looks OK. Review in New Year Functionality to enable a Preview of how changes to the data dictionary content will look when published is required as part of the Mauro authoring process (v3++). This means being able to publish a Branch via DITA, as opposed to the Trunk for publication. This process is iterative throughout branch development, as changes are made, and also to enable quality assurance processes by Dictionary team and the data set developers. Current DITA publishing timescales are currently far too long to support authoring processes without adversely impacting timescales for development.

10/12/21 - James demonstrated the Orchestration tool on 7th December, which includes the preview function. This is included as part of the DMDS testing plan.
