Retire Class Relationships #591

Open AngelaFaulding opened 1 month ago

AngelaFaulding commented 1 month ago

Currently in Together when a Class is retired the relationships are deleted. In Mauro, it is encouraged to leave all modelling and not remove links. The retired links will not display on the live dictionary. James has said that he could look at having the ability in Mauro to retire Class relationships Post Migration.

@KatePalmerLilley - we need a discussion as to whether we delete Class relationships in Mauro until this is resolved. Whatever we decide will affect the Wiki. I will add this to an agenda for us to discuss

We need to edit and delete relationships to see what they look like in the CR. It's OK that they look OK in the publish but may be confusing for reviewers.

@jamesrwelch - you said above that the retired links will not display on the live dictionary. Does this mean they will appear in the Orchestrator?

I've retired GEOGRAPHIC AREA but the link is still there on POSTCODE.

Please see #585, I have asked Peter about this.

Wiki updated to explain that if a Class is retired, the Attributes and Relationships are not removed in Mauro.
