Change Request Paper - user access to pre-migration papers

User needs As an NHS Data Model and Dictionary User I want to be able to access Change Request Papers So that I can understand how a Data Set has changed or is constructed.

Current capability Users are able to access Change Papers via as part of the Release History webpage, organised by date. Users will not be able to access pre-migration Data Item specific Change Papers and they are not planned to be imported into Mauro.

Expected capability

1. On clicking a link under the Data Item's Change Log a list of pre-migration Change Request papers - relevant to the Data Item - are presented to the User.
2. On clicking a link in the Data Items pre-migration list of Change Request Papers the relevant Paper is presented as an in-browser pdf.

Development proposal A Dummy Link has been created to appear under a Data Item's Change Log - the link is configurable to direct users to a specific file in a specific location. Data Solutions to create a Repository for pre-migration Together generated Change Request Papers. Data Solutions to create a mechanism for presenting lists of Change Request Papers to the user.

Dummy link will need to be changed to a dynamic link - System C have declined to take on. Data Solutions to investigate possibility of resolving without System C support.

Data Solutions are able to create webpages for each Data Item that list CR papers with links out to various stored CR Papers (legacy systems).

Work necessary: identify how to link 3++ webpages to the Data Item CR list webpages.

Data Solutions have created a sample HTML page.

Data Solutions (Likin) has started to generate individual HTML pages for each Data Item with Change Request Papers.

System C have indicated that no further development is possible for this ticket.

Current capability Users click on a link that takes them to www.datadictionary,nhs.uk/archive

Preferred capability Users click on a link that takes them to an HTML page of that Data Item's pre-migration Change Log.

Data Solutions are investigating an alternative solution.

Data Solutions - have produced HTML pages - to do - change static link that points to the HTML page for the Data Item that has changed, also, convert .asp pages to html or pdf (preferably html).
