Editing Attribute Terminologies

We have tested editing Attribute Terminologies.

In CR8009, I changed code 98 - Other (not listed) to 99 - Others (not listed)

When I checked the Orchestrator, the codes haven't changed:

I've tried updating the description of a national code in two ways, the first being via edit description (which didn't work) and the second via the web presentation (this DID work). Note that not all terms have a web presentation.

Update via edit description:

1. in CR8007

2. attribute terminology PATIENT CLASSIFICATION

3. click on terms

4. click on national code 1

5. click on Edit

6. click on Edit Description

7. make an amendment in the definition field e.g. "THIS IS A TEST":

8. click save and view Attribute in the orchestrator:

Update via web presentation:

1. in CR8007

2. attribute terminology PATIENT CLASSIFICATION

3. click on terms

4. click on national code 1

5. choose profile - NHS Data Dictionary Term

6. click edit

7. make an amendment in the web presentation field e.g. "THIS IS A TEST":

8. click save and view Attribute in the orchestrator:

Peter how do we update a National Code and a National Code definition?

@AngelaFaulding It does work, but you have linked the wrong Attribute Terminology to the Attribute.

Look at CR8009 branch, attribute PERSON STATED EYE COLOUR:

Click the link to the terminology PERSON STATED EYE COLOUR:

See that you are actually editing the wrong terminology, under CR8008. You need to fix the link between attribute and terminology.

21/10/24 - Peter has confirmed that if the term has a web presentation, any changes to the description should be made in the profile. It may make most sense to update both,. If only the code number changes, in a term with web presentation, update that in the definition. If the term does not have a web presentation, update the definition only

Since Peter explained how to do this, it now works. Wiki age updated and passed to @KatePalmerLilley for testing.
