Background: The Advanced Search Option is currently available on production and is similar in design to PubMed's Advanced Search option which should reduced the learning curve for anyone who has used PubMed's Advanced Search option.
Questions:
[ ] Is the Advanced Search option sufficiently intuitive?
[ ] If not, what are the points of confusion?
[ ] What other types of documentation (or alt text, or interactive explanations) would be helpful to address the confusion?
[ ] Would validating the input and providing a message confuse or help the user?
For example, if the opts to use contains as the search approach and then enters the term Harvard Data -- this would search "Harvard"* AND "data"*, when the desired search may actually be "Harvard data*". Would it help the user to clarification text: "Did you mean to exact match these terms?" or would this cause more confusion? related issue
[ ] If a white space is in the search terms, would a warning help or confuse the user? See related issue for details
[ ] What other features or functions are expected in the Advanced Search option?
