Kind of like bedlam, but I also like reverend!

I suppose we need to decide the scope of the library. BEdLAM is good for what's there now. Reverend is great but very grand. Is it going to be a linear model library or a more general library?

More general, eventually I would like it we implemented Black-box GPs with inducing points

I think rvrnd is quite catchy... and its like rnd/rand from scipy/numpy/matlab/etc

Working title is now rvrnd! I guess we will go through and s/pyalacarte/rvrnd/g once the software release form is approved. Will close once name change has been made in all files.
