An issue was submitted to the NIEM-Releases issue tracker requesting that some of the substitutions for "nc:DateRepresentation" no longer use the "Date" representation term.
With guidance from the NTAC, it was decided to leave the names as is but that the definition of the "Date" representation term in the NDR should be updated:
A particular day, month, and year in the Gregorian calendar.
