While SSH x11 forwarding is nice, GPU-heavy tasks such as running simulations would be better if they could be done on Shatterdome itself. In order to enable remote work for this, either TeamViewer or NoMachine should be set up (or some third option).
Currently NoMachine is installed and working but only allows connections when in the same private network (port forwarding is needed for connections across networks), and TeamViewer is not installed/working correctly on Shatterdome.
