This talk will revolve around the work conducted by our AI for Oncology team at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI). Initially, I will present the challenges encountered in different aspects of cancer research, elaborate on the types of data we gather, and discuss how AI and machine learning tools are used to tackle these problems. Later in the talk, I will delve deeper into some of my recent research works involving language models & immunology, and a methodological approach designed to incorporate constraints into machine learning optimization processes.
