The observed effect on using the 3 LRP methods with default parameters:

1. Ratio local and global pre-activations
2. Stabilizer epsilon (1)
3. Alpha-beta rule (2)

• In all cases: Method 1. gives the least noisy and most structured (circle +ring are always visible in a subsample of 15 images) LRP heatmaps, while method 3. gives the most noisy

• When explaining the same as the true shape: All three methods agree on general pixel contributions (modulo noise)

• When explaining the other than the true shape: Methods 1. and 2. methods agree on general pixel contributions (modulo noise), while method 3. seems to give relevance with opposite sign!
