Read An evaluate Iceshelves related Nature paper (scoop) #128

As PO of Iceshelves I want to read and evaluate the recent Nature publication which represents a partial scoop. This will enable me to follow up with the project partners to reassess where we stand and what is to be done. This will allow us to maximise the impact of the work (to be) done.

The U-Net implementation65 is available at https://github.com/jakeret/tf_unet. The FPN implementation is available at https://github.com/qubvel/segmentation_models. Scripts for calculating the fracture stability diagram (Fig.3c) are avail-able from the corresponding author upon request."

At first look continuation of our idea to pursue an unsupervised approach still very relevant. Paper is very much science focussed.

Meeting with Stef and Maaike tentatively scheduled for 22-09 10:00
