I can lead the powerpoint portion, I'm just not sure how Sarah recorded her html.
I can do that too if you want. I have ppt and can do that on this computer, and also show full screen recording for xaringan html slides. Up to you Sean.
OK, if that works for you...just didn't want to add more to your plate as I had suggested this to Kim.
Thanks, and no worries. The ppt part is quick and easy. The screen recording is too; I'll just do a bit of homework to make sure I can advise across operating systems. I'd just say if you notice a difference between how my ppt recording works and your experience under win10 please do note that.
Here are a few recorded presentations on recording presentations. I plan to walk through this in person, but in the event of lousy internet, the show can go on by playing these. recording a pptx the resulting pptx recording html/your screen a resulting html recording
Sarah, this is great. Do you plan on walking through all of this or do you need me to take on the powerpoint?
This is awesome. What a great quick how-to. Maybe after sarah's walkthrough, we could test it using a windows machine.
Thanks! I can walk through it (assuming my connection works--it stank last Monday but has seemed ok since). I would appreciate you pointing out what if anything is different on Win10 powerpoint. Yes, live fire on Win would be good!
I wasn't going to go through too much on Xaringan since that seems like it could be a whole separate seaside. But I can show how to get a webcam (of the speaker) embedded for a recording. Just got it working (its super easy).
Sounds good.
I just added some discussion notes to the same folder as the recorded presentations for folks who may consult this later. please add/edit as necessary. Also added the little snippet I recorded with the webcam.
