libg2c files (?) upon install #451

Hi, I am attempting to install grib2io, and one of the core items it needs is g2c. I can install g2c just fine -- the cmake, make, make test and make install all work fine. However, when I go to install grib2io it says it cannot find -lg2c, and indeed I cannot find a libg2c.so upon installing. What libg2c files should be generated upon a successful install, if any, and where would they be located?

Please disregard & close; variable assignment error was what was causing this issue.
