update module files, docs and scripts The mpasjedi 2024052700 case can ran through without a problem.

Since GAEA require to specify -M directive for any jobs, it will take some time to figure out how to run ctests on Gaea. Nevertheless, this does not affect the review and merge of this PR and we don't plan to run CI tests or ctests on Gaea in the near future (CI tests on three platforms Hera/Jet/Hercules should be enough at this moment).
