Step1: Convert the abi_g16 gsi diag file to ioda data followed the instruction on Wiki Step2: Construct the YAML file for ABI G16 with QC filters Step3: Open PR to merge the YAML file when it has been tested successfully Step4: Add the bias correction into YAML file and test Step5: Use the bufr2ioda converted data to test step 2-4

Resume testing the GOES_16 ABI yaml file in MPAS_JEDI Three of four prior filters passed the test, only thinning still has problem Ten of twelve post filters passed the test, but the filter of ‘Scene Consistency Check based on ch13’ and ‘cloud detection’ still has problem All these tests are based on the ABI ioda data converted from GSI diag file, instead of the direct converted from bufr at this moment
