Sometime the source dataset has some unrealistic values, so add some code to deal with it.
When specific humidity, precipitation, or solar radiation is negative, set to 0. If any variable is grossly off, stop the model.
Will change answers in regrid mode when the conditions exist for changing the input forcing fields.
