2 years ago Describe if this is needed for a management application The re-parameterized Ricker stock recruit relationship uses 3 parameters which allows increased flexibility in the relationship between Fmsy and Bmsy/B0. The re-parametrized Ricker SRR with 3 parameters can be used to replicate the data-moderate SRR form applied in Depletion-based Stock Reduction Analysis (DB-SRA). Including this SRR in the next generation modeling platform will allow the ability to explore an alternative SRR for any assessment but also facilitate replication of other data-limited modeling approaches.
Additional context The re-parameterized Ricker SRR is currently available in Stock Synthesis under SRR option 9.
