Fixes:

A couple of naming issues in the density calculation (original code still looking for lat and lon instead of x and y).
Added additional possible names for the z coordinate (zi and zl, present in some GFDL models)

No issues on my side. Do you want to merge or leave it open for future changes?

Let's merge it - next time I will try to not make a load of changes, break the package, and then change them all back again!
