Explore DEM processing solutions for thalweg burn "notch" artifact in SRC #303

Longitudinal thalweg DEM burn-in process is creating a "notch" in the channel cross section. This leads to artifacts in the REM grid and SRC output.

@CarsonPruitt-NOAA @BrianAvant-NOAA Carson should have access to the Cahaba API right? Will he need access to the production machine, too?

@BradfordBates-NOAA @CarsonPruitt-NOAA He should have access to the API but it isn't configured to run the sequence of events we need for this task.
