One comment from the workshop is to allow users to differentiate between continuous (like surface underway) and discrete (like Niskin bottle based measurements) data sets.
When the SDIS interface asks a user to choose the observation type, would you please add a new question asking the users whether the data are continuous or discrete sampling based measurements? Please use checkboxes instead of radio buttons, as sometimes they could contain both.
