Next Meeting - July 13th @12:30 in the Oceanographers Room

The next Python Users Group Meeting has been scheduled.

We will meet just after NOAA Science Camp activity so there may be some initial hustle and bustle in the room.

Its another working lunch if you choose to bring yours.

Anticipated Topics:

Intro to python and resources - Numerous resources have been provided by Chris Barker of NOAA-ORR

I'm hoping Chris will be able to attend and share some experiences with diving into Python.

Demo of Jupyter notebook - Karl Smith has setup a demo resource and is looking for testers, so a simple demo may be a good way to introduce this resource. I have a few, but I'm happy to have some additional volutneers... especially those who may want to combine Ferret with Jupyter
PyAOS introduction - There are a number of growing python scientific communities - we should all be familiar with their goals and directions... this is one of particular relevance.
Pydata Seattle 2017 - If anyone is attending this, please share anything you feel interesting/exciting/relevant . Its in Redmond July 5th-July7th. Information can be found at https://pydata.org/seattle2017/
