This is a now-out-of-date document that @IonospherePlasmasphereElectrodynamics and I put together in August/September of 2017 detailing the files that are linked in for WAM-IPE forecasts: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1epYE7GRrwERaDM7HQjMPx9aa2akD16qABd3MGUAxw9A/edit#gid=0
It includes our old IPE startup files, and is missing the IDEA fix files that are copied in (some of which may not be used?) and other namelist files that detail WAM options, but it's something to start from.
In order to improve our ability to move between systems, we need to consolidate the locations that initial condition/model set up data is pulled from. Along with doing this, we should make a concise document that lists the files that are needed, and document a concise directory structure for storing that data. We should start by building this database with a few key test cases that we are already running and update the compset scripts to make use of this new structure. We'll need a new variable indicating where that database directory is installed.
When porting to a new system, the database can simply be tarballed and carried over, or we can look into using git-lfs to track versions of this initial condition database.
