What happened?

My laptop has a GeForce GTX 1070 but the app seems to be using my Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630. I tried setting the graphics preference manually in Graphics Settings in Windows 10 Settings, but after restarting the app it still defaults to the Intel Graphic Chipset.

Attach your screenshots

I have the same issue

MrVinceZ commented 1 year ago

Can you check in the task manager which card is at 100%?

The idea is to find out whether the problem comes from selecting the graphics card, or whether it's just a UI problem that doesn't correctly display the GPU used.

Varrho commented 1 year ago

The 100% for me is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 image image

MrVinceZ commented 1 year ago

Okay, so it's a UI problem.

The UI doesn't display the active GPU but the first one found in the hardware

Thanks for the feedback

So this means that my computer is not powerful to use Menyr? Because I only have 13 fps when I try to use it...

I tested on my end in a test world and I don't get clear results. Both GPU are under 20% use which is weird given the lags I am experiencing in the app. To be extra sure I tested while letting Windows 10 manage Graphic Card and while forcing it to use my GTX 1070 (see both screenshots attached. Thanks

Can you type this command in Powershell and send here the result ?

Get-WmiObject win32_VideoController

Sure! I attached it below. Get-WmiObject win32_VideoController.log

And just to be clear: I know my machine is below minimal specs so I do not expect perfect performances. I just found it weird to see almost no load on the GPU and minimal one on the CPU while having very low FPS + the message that the default GPU used was the Intel chip
