The Escape key in the menu seems to be binded to strange stuff. You would imagine it can be used to go back to the previous menu, but it will never do that. If you click somewhere out of the menu boxes, the key won't trigger anything, but if you don't click anywhere, iit will do the following:
on the landing page, it opens various stuff (probably not randomly but I didn't understand the pattern)
on all the other pages, it seems to act like a click/validate button
in game, in the keybinding menu and in the display settings, it acts like a click in the menu but not on the tabs on top
in the graphics settings, if you're not within the window, it will act very randomly
in the stats menus, it won't do anything
The only exception of that behavior is in game, when you open a menu and click out a the box before pressing Escape. Then, and only then, it will go back to the previous menu.
