I played with this a bit and found that once you encountered this error, if you closed the app and turned it back on, the message would go away about 75% of the time (I did this many times and in a few instances the message came back up but mostly it disappeared). Played with it for a bit but couldnt fix it so more testing is needed.

So this was fixed and not clicking air plane mode shows the waiting cursor along the "acquiring location, please wait".
So Nathan has not encountered this but Jim has encountered this in the hotel he is at.
so what we know:
1) no error when connected to wifi. Turn off wifi and the error comes on 2) the tablet that doesn't give errors and the one that does have all the same updates, build.... 3) both are disconnected from u-blox centre 4) tried a couple different versions of the app and none work
Now the differences:
1) In setting in airplane mode, the tablets that work have a gps/gnss toggle and it is on. The ones that doesn't work does not have this toggle 2) In device manager, the tablet that works has com3 virtual port only. The tablet that does not work has com 3 and com4 (GNSS receiver)
Could it be how u-blox center was configured? I'm also curious at how come the toggle for location wouldn't be there. Was there 2 different user on the tablet with one not being admin?

So Nathan and Melanie both encountered this error when it seems at random times, a message stating airplane mode is on. The airplane mode on the tablet is off so we will try to figure out what makes the app think airplane mode is on when it isn't.
