AirLoopHVAC:Unitary Water to Air Heat Pump Electric Reheat Issue #2996

If I use the AirLoopHVAC:Unitary Water to Air Heat Pump as a wrapper with load control there is not an issue. Once I change the control type to setpoint the electric reheat coils gives an error that there is not a setpoint manager on the control node. The field for setting the control node is unavailable. I can set a control node in EnergyPlus but not in OpenStudio. I am using OS 2.4.0. I am attaching files for a small case where I am trying to setup a geothermal DOAS unit that is using setpoint managers to control to a fixed leaving air temperature via setpoint manager scheduled. Again, I can get it to work in E+ plus I need it to work in OS so that I can use the GLHEPro measures. Test Case Doas.zip

Here is the error I get once I try to use setpoint control:

Severe Coil:Heating:Electric "ELEC HTG COIL 13" ~~~ ... Missing control node for heating coil. ~~~ ... enter a control node name in the coil temperature setpoint node field for this heating coil. ~~~ ... use a Setpoint Manager to establish a setpoint at the coil temperature setpoint node.

Curious to see if anyone has looked at this issue? I have a large model that I would really like to have the capability to use the Unitary Water to Air Heat Pump container on but I cannot if the control type: setpoint does not work.

Air Loop Water to Air Coil for Heat Pump

We frequently design geothermal heat pump systems with DOAS units that are water cooled heat pumps. We control the units to a specific dewpoint on the leaving side with reheat to bring the temperature backup to neutral air. The current wrapper for a Unitary Water to Air heat pump does not allow for this type of control. Its seems that it would not be a problem to allow a water to air coil to be added directly to an air loop so we can add a setpoint manager after it. You can do this in energyplus but not with OS.

☑️ in 2.7.0. Workaround is to use Load instead of SetPoint for the Control Type field. One could also use zone WAHPs.
