CHP mapping #5

ICF CHP database contains only state and city name. CHP installations need to be mapped to county level, either by matching state and place names to FIPS code using census data or another method.

Emailed database contact (Trent Blomberg, trent.blomberg@icf.com) about whether geocoding is provided in the internal version database. They do track zip codes, counties, and estimate lat/long. Waiting for a response to obtaining counties as of 10/31/2019.

No help from ICF. Instead, implemented a process for matching zip codes to county FIPS and aggregating ICF data by county and prime mover. See this folder.
