Include RNM systems in the examples #78

I am working on adding conversion examples (see #12) of larger test systems.

So far we have (see branch Add_examples):

such that the 2 conversion examples we have are OpenDSS ---> Cyme for each of these...

For diversity, it would be great to have examples of large systems in CYME and/or other formats.

If we cannot add "famous" test cases in CYME, could we use Demo2+ and/or Dataset3 (in OpenDSS but also their conversions validated by CYME...)? (We might have to wait for the full validation).

What do you think @tarekelgindy @bpalmintier ?

Great to add examples, though if we already have 8500 and J1 that is likely plenty to demonstrate the power and functionality of ditto. Seems adding more formats using these same examples is likely more valuable than trying to add additional example feeders. Also, DS2 and DS3 are too big to burden the repository with. Everyone using DiTTo via git clone shouldn’t have to work with them. We can include ditto-specific pieces for DS2 & DS3 along with the datasets.

Clarification: Ooops I see the challenge is with getting these larger feeders in CyME format. What test systems do we already have for CyME? Do we have running examples for other formats? GridLAB-D? Synergi? Seems having a few examples in each may be enough. Still think the Smart-DS datasets are too big to include.

The approach we chose was to use small systems (4 and 13 node) for testing, and also include examples of larger systems. IEEE 123 could potentially be used in both columns (still a little small compared to what we have in OpenDSS...).

So far we have:

Format Test systems Example systems
OpenDSS IEEE 4, 13 node IEEE 8500 node and EPRI J1
CYME IEEE 4 and 13 node -
Gridlab-D IEEE 4, 13, and 123 node -
Synergy - -
DEW - -

Update after #79:

Format Test systems Example systems
OpenDSS IEEE 4, 13 node IEEE 8500 node and EPRI J1
CYME IEEE 4 and 13 node IEEE 123 node
Gridlab-D IEEE 4, 13 IEEE 123 node
