I think there is a piece that we haven't thought of which is to answer questions like,
how/where does calculation of NMEC fits into our current workflow shown in the figure below? where do we draw boxes in the figure for NMEC? where are the inputs coming from? where are the output xmls being stored? what kind of information will those xmls include?
how to create similar rake task that is being used in current workflow for calculating NMEC? e.g., rake task such as bundle exec rake generate_xmls path/to/csv/file
I'm assigning you on this, since you'd know better than I do. And by completing things above and making NMEC work in the workflow will be the milestone goal.
