OpenStudio Window Editor Problem #352

Hello,

My team and I are working on a 4-story hospital building energy model. We created the geometry using FloorSpaceJS and Sketchup. The geometry is fine and in working condition; however, whenever we try to create windows - it does not allow us to create new windows without selecting all the windows. So, if you delete one window, it deletes all of it. This prevents us from being able to merge the windows into the model. Is this a bug that can be fixed? Or is our model getting too large for the software's capability?

Any leads on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Annlin,

You can delete individual windows by clicking on them - click on the edge/window, and a little dialogue comes up that lets you delete only that specific window

Hi @annlin1995 It sounds like you may be using the "repeated windows" functionality. Like you described, that will only allow you to delete windows one wall at a time

(the first couple times I use that red X, then I use the delete key on my keyboard)

Also, it didn't occur to me until after I made the video, but could you be deleting the whole window definition, instead of the individual windows?
