Note that create_bar_from_model has not been on BCL and was an earlier prototype of other create_bar measures. It still has an interesting use case in that it can simplify a complex model vs. bring in space type ratios and other high level inputs. But This measure has not kept up with the development of the others. It still passes tests but has not be used a lot. Specific features I know have not been added to this measure are listed below.
dual bar (supporting two bars rotated 90 degrees to better match aspect ratio and perimeter vs. what a single bar can do
custom height bar (ability to break out spaces of higher floor to floor height to a dedicated bar
advanced double loaded corridor approach that can take specific space type as core of sliced bar to roughly replicate a double loaded corridor.
