darth-pr commented 9 years ago

We need a document to hand out at registration time that covers simple logistical information such as wifi, locations to eat?, agenda.

chrismattmann commented 9 years ago

+1, great idea. We need some visualization and prettyness help here. @shakeh and @MBoustani can you work with @aaronxhill and folks from Parsons to draft one?

chrismattmann commented 9 years ago

Hey @MBoustani can you please add @piim as an available assignee here? Katie (@piim) - can you please take the lead on this action?

cdanewschool commented 9 years ago

I mentioned on our very first call (which I don't think Chris was on) that we have PIIM folders that we can distribute as people check-in, and they can include any handouts or paperwork we want to include. But I will need a final Agenda by 10/30/14 at the latest.

We can put together a programme packet if you want to provide information about the organizers, bios for the organizing committee, etc. I just need to know asap so we can being compiling info.

chrismattmann commented 9 years ago

Thanks @piim Yes, it would be great to include information about the organizers, OC, etc. Jonathan Pundsack has an action to send this to you. Can you please reach out to him? I'll mention this on the OC call today.

shakeh commented 9 years ago

Hey all,

Sorry if you have been asking me for stuff. All the mail you sent me has been going to my spam folder. Please let me know what I can help with. -Shakeh

deadline to get info to @piim and Katie is Wednesday.

Information we need for the Programme (ASAP):

About The Organizers

Organizing Committee Bios - @darth-pr - if you want to copy/paste what you receive via email into a google doc shared with me, that would be great.

Session Descriptions - we can pull these directly from GitHub. Just want to be sure the list is in its final version.

chrismattmann commented 9 years ago

@piim thanks. @darth-pr is working the Blurb for NSF part. I'll get you the blurb for USC part and will reach out to @truthkos for blurb for Amazon. @piim can you share me the google doc link for the rest so I can add it? Session descriptions should be pulled from Github by 9am PT today. We'll go with those as the final ones.

cdanewschool commented 9 years ago

@chrismattmann I'll compile the info into a google doc and share with you so you can make any changes - but we'll need to have that finalized by tomorrow afternoon at the latest - so we have time to incorporate into the design of the programme, print and stuff into folders.

cdanewschool commented 9 years ago

@chrismattmann Will the Agenda be updated to include specific sessions within specific time periods? Such as what is expected for Day 1 First Hack, Day 1 Second Hack, etc... Is that breakdown somewhere that I am missing?

chrismattmann commented 9 years ago

Thanks @piim no probs, put more blurbs in there and am collecting info and so is paul

chrismattmann commented 9 years ago

piim has everything they need, we are working this. If there are further issues, please comment here. closing now.
