this may also the chances of encountering a missing waveform element when running the FCCD fast, which then breaks analysis code

example traceback is VERY long and summarized by BadShapeMetadata: For data key fccd_mcs_wfrm_wfrm_1 shape (103,) does not match expected shape (100,).
