Background treatment #8

Do we want to just subtract the mean of a large number of darks?

Or do we want to first subtract the overscan?

Make the background input take: list of 2D arrays or a number

thresholds low, high assign as NaN

@mpmdean I have tested overscan for a sparse data set and it doesn't work very well, but this could be a problem with a sparse photon data set.

Update later on the other items.
