Not sure if this is the ideal place for this document to live, but here's a first draft of mds deployment. Have a look @stuwilkins @dchabot @arkilic @tacaswell @danielballan

Also, @stuwilkins if this looks good to you, I will make these changes to CSX (edit the etc/mongodb.conf file to point to /DATA/mongodb and set the permissions correctly)

+1 for including a mostly-unfiltered record of lessons learned in the public docs

do we want to integrate this with #6 ?

@tacaswell Not sure what you mean by integrate. I think these should remain separate documents, as this one is really how to install the mongodb and test it, while #6 is how to install the software stack on the beamline workstations.

I agree with @ericdill. It is just a server running at a remote location, not part of the software stack. We should keep them separate.
