Any way to DFU without remote? #121

I have a bluetooth keyboard, CiderTV on my mac, and a WiFi app on my Android phone, all of which work fine for controlling my A1469 Apple TV. Is there any way to use any of those (or an app that forces DFU over the USB connection like Redsn0w would do on old iPhones) or do I absolutely need a remote to boot into DFU?

I actually have my old white apple remote also, which works great for controlling the apple tv, but will not put it into DFU.

I bought a remote on eBay.
