Macbook 2016 Retina not detecting apple tv 3g (A1469) when connected #77

Hello I have been trying multiple usb cables and nothing is getting Blackb0x to detect my apple tv in order to jailbreak it. It just gets stuck on "Please connect an apple device" I have restored it once and still nothing.

Do I need to be logged into an apple id to jailbreak? I just restored it and tried connecting it and nothing happened.

If it doesn't appear in Finder/iTunes then you have a problem with either the USB port or cable. Once it appears there it should be detected by the app.
