Kodi 14.2 laggy playback ATV 3,1 #78

Unusable - tried to play 720p H.264 video via Kodi - frame skips every second, laggy audio. 1080p is even worse. Any way to fix it ? Anything plays smooth as butter via AirPlay.

Older versions of Kodi are more stable for ATV2/3. Might have more luck trying those.

@ashkinaldloshi Have you succeeded installing older Kodi version that does not lag playback?

I gave up, returned to newest stock firmware. I use AirPlay from Mac to play movies, ffmpeg to correct aspect ratio and integrate subtitles into video. Its better way.

Yea, me too. I gave up, restored ATV and sold it.
