Apart from these, do we need to implement ideal loads to material-specific archetypes (i.e., sfh-masonry, sfh-concrete, etc.)?

This is extremely useful and makes BuildME much richer. I see a few things that we should do / discuss now:

• [x] Move function to BuildME/BuildME/tools along with the other similar helper functions created by @anistad and @kamilitsa
• [x] Clean up doc file a bit (I can have a look at that)
• [x] Make functions a bit more generic (e.g. remove absolute paths to your computer, add if __name__ == "__main__" at the end, etc.)
• [x] implement an automated backup routine when files are being converted

I was working on minimizing the manual intervention requirements... and widening the spectrum range of its applicability to any other IDFs. The code was revised, and now it follows an automatic workflow, you can access the new changes in my last commit to Kamila's branch. I updated the source code and its documentation accordingly. By the way, there is no effect on already converted IDFs.
