A Few New Wizard Items

Staff of Chaos: Shoots random magic bolts. Charges faster and can hold more shots than other staves. Staff of Door Creation: Works the same as the wand of door creation. There is apparently demand for this! Charges faster and can hold more shots than other staves. Wand Assortment: A belt that comes of one of each useful wand, generated with the highest number of shots possible.

Cleaning Up the Spellbook

The spellbook was getting REALLY long, so it's been segmented into pages for spells, items, and one time use spells (aka the fun page). The spellbook also highlights the fact that you can upgrade spells better now.

Summon Magic Rebalancing

There's now a new category of magic items that are especially potent. These have a very low chance of showing up now and only one can spawn during a casting of summon magic, if one even spawns at all. The person who gets it is not guaranteed to be a survivor either.

In this category: Staff of Animation, Staff of Change, Staff of Chaos, Wand Assortment, Contract of Apprenticeship.

Additionally the staff of door creation is now in the normal pool and the staff of change is no longer in the normal pool.

Misc Stuff

Adds Bats and Goats to the staff of change. Changes the charge spell so if you charge something that can charge on its own there's no chance of degradation.

Open call for sprites for the Staff of Chaos and the Staff of Door Creation. This includes: The item itself, the in hands for both hands, and the on back.

Optional call for sprites for the wand belt, I can probably just use the soulstone belt for this but if you want to make one that's cool. Needs item sprite and on mob sprites.

Codersprites will occur if needed.

@Anonus It would exist here but there's some troubles with a wand calling the self zapping of other wands. Also I want to demo it as a wizard/super rare thing first in case it turns out to be too bullshit for a wand.

No, it's a straight 25% shot regardless of what item you end up with. No limit to how many or how few survivors can be created this way.

I was thinking when they are out the staff of chaos turns either white or black until charges regen, while door staff just stays shut.

Assuming he accepts them, I need to know a way to get the dmi of the stuff to incoming.

EDIT: It turns out byond is capable of making animations capable of going backwards every time it completes (rewind function), so the door does not need to poof closed again i would just swing open and closed.

@ADamDirtyApe a .dmi is a normal image file (.png with more information technically) so just distribute it through mediafire/dropbox or imgur etc.

well there is still the tgforums sprite upload, though idk its status in light of the new split stuff. incoming can still access all the forum stuff right?

I think I will bundle all the icon and onmob versions into one .dmi and incoming can put them in the relevant .dmis on his side to cut down on transfer size. I do not have the onmobs right now as I did not want to do all that animated icon work and end up not getting picked (im lookin @ u @Nienhaus ) If nobody ends up contending me though, I can rearrange stuff if Incoming wants.

I'd just rest with the sprites for a few days while we see what comes in. Inhands aren't as big a deal as they may seem, they just have to exist because "invisible combat weapon" is a horrible phrase.
