Please feel free to comment and propose ideas on but not limited to the following:
Theme. I am very new to web programming so I am using Bulma Clean Theme for now as it is simple and supports blog & gallery pages. Are there other better themes, or can we write one ourselves?
Font. I am using the default sans-serif font. Perhaps a serif font would be better?
Structure. I am planning to put all documents under the Blog page and select the best photos to display under the Gallery page and list all links to blogs/galleries under pages of individual voyages.
Contribution. Any way we can encourage all participants, including non-programmers, to participate in the design and adding content to the website? I am thinking of writing a document. Also, feel free to recruit others in this NUSSeafarers organization!
Content. More content, such as the physics of sailing, topics on hiking & abseiling, Captain's stories, how to tie knots, celestial navigation (web app for navigation?), SEA studies, etc.
If you want to take a task, simply open an issue and assign yourself. It would be best to use pull requests for contributions.
