Earth-2 Model Intercomparison Project (MIP) is a python framework that enables climate researchers and scientists to inter-compare AI models for weather and climate.
Adding a Jupytext Notebook for showing how to use the H5 datasource for scoring a model over a year's worth of data. Its still a pretty lightweight demo, but at least gets the process across. Can easily be expanded to comparing the accuracy of multiple models.
Makes some assumptions about the data, but at least provides some information.
Eventually to integrate into the docs build. that will be a process of its own.
