It would be nice to have releases available for the beta drivers (https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver)

An alternative would be to get some word on version compatibility between persistenced (and settings) and the driver. I assume that only exact version matches are supposed to work, but perhaps it's the case that these tools are backwards compatible.
