Currently, there are build helpers for debian available.
Since pyxis is to be used with enroot (which has support files for both deb- and rpm-based packages),
it would be nice to have that for pyxis itself, too.
The wiki mentions that rpms are not currently supported. This is what this issue is about.
@AquaL1te has an example .spec file mentioned in #29. This one is tied to 0.7.0, tho
The enroot spec file is quite promising, but requires separately maintaining changelogs for both debs and rpms. In enroot, this is duplicated, too.
That said, both pyxis and enroot have very "concise" changelogs, so that might not be a problem.
using Alien won't work reliably as the /usr/lib strucure is different for debian-based and rpm-based systems
